The checkout process was frustrating. It kept glitching on me, and somehow I ended up getting charged twice, which was definitely not the "smooth" experience I was expecting.

The site was straightforward overall, and I was able to find what I needed without getting too frustrated. That said, my gut feeling was that it could be a bit more polished. A few pages took longer than I expected to load, and some buttons weren’t immediately obvious, so I had to pause and figure out what to click. It gets the job done, but it feels like it could be smoother and a little less confusing in certain spots

I really liked how the story included my kid’s name and a few small details that were actually right, it made it feel a lot more special. A couple of pages were a little more generic than I expected, but that didn’t bother me much. Overall, the personalization was really cute and my kid enjoyed it.

I reached out hoping someone would actually help me, but I’m still stuck with the same problem. From my side, it feels like I haven’t gotten any real support or a clear fix yet.

The book turned out okay overall, and at first glance it looked nice. I did notice the print wasn’t quite as crisp as I expected, though, and a few of the pages had colors that felt a bit dull compared to what I saw in the preview.
The cover feels solid enough and doesn’t come across as cheap, but the inside pages were thinner than I was hoping for. It’s not a bad book by any means, just not as special as I wanted it to feel, which was a little disappointing. I’d say 3 stars is fair

I ordered it thinking it would show up in a normal amount of time, but it ended up taking ages. The tracking barely changed the whole time too, which somehow made it feel even longer, like when you keep checking the clock and it’s only been two minutes.
I did email once to ask what was going on, and the reply was basically just that it was on the way. I mean, I get that there’s only so much they can say, but when you’ve already been waiting that long, it doesn’t really help much.
The book did finally arrive, and it was fine, but by then I was already kind of over it. The slow delivery just took the excitement out of it for me, so I probably wouldn’t order again if I needed something anytime soon.

The box arrived all beat up, and the corners of the book were bent because of it. Super annoying, and it feels like wasted energy having to deal with a damaged item that should’ve just been packed properly in the first place.

I went into this expecting something sweet and comforting, but it felt hollow. Maybe I’m reading too much into it, but it kind of seemed like it was trying to look meaningful without actually having much heart behind it. Instead of making me feel better, it just left me upset and disappointed. Definitely not what I was hoping for.

I ordered from thebookaboutyouhd.com because I wanted something personal for my sister’s birthday, and the site made it look like it would be really special. When it arrived, though, I felt a bit let down. It wasn’t terrible, but it felt much more basic than I expected for the price.

Maybe someone else would be happy with it, but for me it didn’t feel like good value. I kept thinking I probably could have put together something similar myself for a lot less money. I don’t think I’d buy it again.
